We are writing today to express our deepest gratitude for your generous contributions to our home for blind women here in Sinhagad Road, Pune. Thanks to your kindness, we can continue to provide a safe and loving haven for these remarkable women.

Many of you might not know this, but the ShirdiSaiBaba Blind Women’s Old Age Home is a very special place. It’s not just a shelter; it’s a community where blind women can live with dignity, respect, and most importantly, with each other. They are like sisters here, sharing stories, laughter, and the challenges of everyday life.

What makes our home truly unique is the amazing handicraft program we run. These strong and talented women have learned to make beautiful things with something most of us throw away – plastic wire! They weave magic with their fingers, transforming colorful plastic wires into bags, baskets, keychains, and even home decor items. It’s inspiring to see their creativity and determination. Not only does this program give them a sense of purpose and accomplishment, but it also helps them earn a little income, which makes them feel even more empowered.

Imagine for a moment, not being able to see the world around you. It can be a scary and lonely place. But at the ShirdiSaiBaba Blind Women’s Old Age Home, these challenges are met with courage and a positive spirit. The women here help each other, cook together, sing songs, and celebrate festivals. They find joy in the simple things, and their laughter fills our home with warmth.

Your donations, big or small, have made a huge difference in their lives. But more than that, your contributions have shown them that they are not alone. They know that there are people out there who care about them and want to see them happy. Thanks to your generosity, we can continue to run our handicraft program, offer life skills training, and organize fun activities for the women.
