नमस्कार,
आज सोलापूर जिल्हा हा शेतकरी यांच्या साठी जसा निसर्गाने शापच दिला आहे,हा जिल्हा कमी पावसाच्या, पर्जन्यछायेच्या प्रदेशात येतो. येथे पावसाचे वार्षिक सरासरी प्रमाण ५०० ते ७५० मि. मी. (५० ते ७५ से.मी.) इतके कमी आहे. तसेच पावसाची विभागणीही असमान आहे तरी उजनी धरणामुळे येथील बागायत क्षेत्र १८ ते २०% आहे. यावर प्रामुख्याने ऊस हे पीक घेतले जाते. एकूण ७५ ते ८२ % शेती लहरी पावसावर अवलंबून आहे.
या जिल्ह्यात पावसाचे प्रमाण खूपच कमी असल्यामुळे येथे, उन्हाळ्यात माणसाप्रमाणेच गाई, बैल, म्हशी, शेळ्या यांचा देखील पाणी पिण्याचा खुप मोठा प्रॉब्लेम आहे,
सततच्या दुष्काळाने अडचणीत आलेल्या शेतकऱ्यांच्या आत्महत्या थांबण्याचे नाव घेत नाहीत,जानेवारी ते आतापर्यंत १५४ शेतकऱ्याने जीवन संपविले मागील वर्षी १२२ शेतकऱ्यांनी आत्महत्या केल्या होत्या मागच्या तुलनेत या वर्षी ३२ आत्महत्या जास्त झाल्या आहेत व दरवर्षी हा आकडा वाढतच चालला आहे,कधी कोरडा दुष्काळ तर कधी अतिवृष्टी,यातून चुकून समाधानकारक पाऊसपाणी झालेच तर अवकाळी पाऊस, गारपीट,यामुळे हातातोंडांशी आलेले पिके वाया जातात,काही दिवसाच्या पावसातच महिनाभराची सरासरी गाठली जाते,यामुळे निसर्गावर अवलंबून असलेला खरीप हंगाम हातातून निघून जातो,यासाठी घेतलेल्या कर्जाची परतफेड होत नाही, या परिस्थितीत कोलमडून पडल्यामुळे शेतकरी टोकाचे पाऊल उचलतात,
जिल्ह्यात मागील सतरा वर्षापासून शेतकरी आत्महत्या होत आहेत यात २०१४ पासून वाढ झाली आहे,सततचा दुष्काळ, कर्जाचा वाढणारा डोंगर यामुळे शेतकरी आत्महतेचे हत्यार उपसत आहे,
महाराष्ट्रात सर्वात जास्त शेतकरी आत्महत्या याच जिल्ह्यात होतात
जेव्हा शेतकरी जमीन नांगरतो तेव्हा तो काहीतरी आपल्याला जीवन जगण्यासाठी मदत होईल या आशेवार काम करत असतो
आणि नव्या उमेदीने सावकाराकडून १० रुपये टक्क्याने कर्जाचे पैसे घेऊन नांगरतो,त्यानंतर मोगडणी करतो, मग २ वेळा फंनतो, नंतर बी. बियाणे आणि खाते व औषधें आणतो, आणि सगळे झाल्यानंतर नव्या उमेदीने पेरणी करतो, पेरणी केल्यानंतर एखादा चातक पक्षी जसा आधासीपणे अत्यंत आतुरतेने पावसाची वाट पाहत असतो अगदी तशीच शेतकरी सुद्धा वाट पाहत असतो,आणि त्याला खुप मोठी आशा असते, आज नाही उद्या तरी नक्कीच पाऊस पडणार आणि माझे पिकं चांगल्या भावात विक्री करून मिळालेल्या पैशातून मी माझे कर्ज फेडून टाकेल व मुलांचे शिक्षण, बायकोला २ साड्या, मुलांना कपडे, चप्पल,या करिता बाकी रक्कम खर्च करेल
परंतु निसर्ग हा त्याच्याबरोबर नेहमीप्रमाणे अतिशय निस्ठुरपणे वागतो आणि खुप मोठा अगाध करतो,
त्यातच थोडासा पाऊस येतो आणि पेरलेले बियाणे उगवते व काढणी पर्यंत परत पाऊस पडत नाही,त्यामुळे ८० ते ८५% पिके ही उगवताच पाऊस, पाणी नसल्यामुळे जळून जातात, व त्यातील काही भागामध्ये पाऊस बरा झालेला असतो त्यामुळे पिकं काशिबशी येतात,
आणि काढणी आज उद्या तोंडावर आली असता सप्टेंबर अखेरीस खूपच मोठ्या प्रमाणात पाऊस पडतो आणि थोड्या जास्त प्रमाणात तोंडाशी आलेले पीक परत अतिवृष्टी मुळे पाण्यात जाते,देशात पशुपालन प्रामुख्याने महाराष्ट्रातील सर्व जिल्ह्यात शेतकरी वर्गाचे उत्पन्नाचे साधन आहे. मात्र, त्यावर गेले वर्षभर लम्पी नावाच्या संसर्गजन्य रोगाने ग्रहण लावले आहे.
या आजारामुळे महाराष्ट्रातील अनेक जिल्ह्यामध्ये लंपी स्कीनचा कहर वाढत चालला आहे सोलापूर जिल्ह्यांमध्ये लम्पी स्कीन आजाराचा प्रादुर्भाव झाला आहे. ३७ हजाराहून अधिक गायींना या आजाराची लागण झाली आहे…
दुष्काळात होरपळून निघालेल्या बळीराजाला निसर्ग ही सध्या साथ देत नाहीये..
कसं जगावं आणि शेती कशी करावी हा सर्वात मोठा प्रश्न गावागावात उभा राहतो आहे..
त्यासाठी जबाबदार नागरिक म्हणून आपण पावलं उचलणं गरजेचं आहे..
तर मित्रानो शेतकरी बंधु जगेल कसा, तरी आम्ही आपल्याला विनंती पूर्वक आवाहन करतो की ज्या मायमाऊलीच्या कपाळाचं कुंकू पुसलं गेलं, लहान मुलांचा बाप गेला , एका तरुण महिलेचा पती गेला , एका आईचा मुलगा गेला त्यांच्या जगण्याला उभारी कोण देणार ,
म्हनुन यासाठी पुला केअर फॉउंडेशन च्या माध्यमातून आणि आपल्या सगळ्याच्या सहकार्यातून जिल्ह्यातील अतिवृष्टी मुळे नुकसानग्रस्त १०० शेतकऱ्यांना प्रत्येक १०,००० रुपये प्रमाणे मदत करणार आहोत तरी आपण सडळ हाताने फुल नाही फुलाची पाकळी मदत करा
Today Solapur district is cursed by nature for the farmers, this district falls in the region of low rainfall, rain shadow. Also the distribution of rainfall is uneven but the irrigated area is 18 to 20% due to Ujani Dam. Sugarcane is the main crop grown on it. A total of 75 to 82 % of agriculture is dependent on wave rains. Like humans, cows, bulls, buffaloes, goats also have a big problem of drinking water.
From January until now 154 farmers have committed suicide. Last year 122 farmers committed suicide. Compared to last year, 32 more suicides have occurred this year and this number is increasing every year. Crops that have come in hand are wasted, the average of the month is reached within a few days of rain, due to which the kharif season which depends on nature goes out of hand, the loans taken for this are not repaid, in this situation,
As responsible citizens, we need to take few steps to support the farmers.
A suicide farmer is only a small land holder (holding between 1 to 5 acres) farmers.
Therefore, through the Pula Care Foundation and with the cooperation of all of PULA members, we are trying to help atleast 100 farmers who have suffered losses due to heavy rains in the district. We are looking at providing a minimum of INR 10,000 to each farmers and their families.
